Virginia Dixon joined Morris|Hardwick|Schneider in 2005. Virginia is a Managing Attorney in the firm’s Jonesboro office where she focuses her practice on conventional residential closings. Virginia has years of experience working as a title examiner in Atlanta and surrounding counties. Additionally, Virginia has extensive knowledge of the mortgage loan process, having previously worked for a major lender as a loan closer, title evaluator, foreclosure technician and payoff technician. Virginia is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, the Real Property Law Section of the Georgia Bar and the Georgia Real Estate Closing Attorneys Association. She recently was awarded the L. Marvin Rivers Memorial Award for “2005 Closing Attorney of the Year.”
Virginia earned her J.D. degree from John Marshall Law School in 1995. She is a magna cum laude graduate of Saint Leo University where she received a B.S. degree. In addition, Virginia has served in the United States Army where she was awarded two Army Achievement Medals, two Certificates of Achievement and a sharpshooter’s badge.
In her free time, Virginia enjoys spending time with her family, genealogy, stamp and coin collecting.
Virginia is a member of the Henry County Bar Association and The American Legion (since 2003).
